General Information

Beware of poison oak around the property! Come see us at the check-in booth for pictures if you aren’t familiar with what it looks like.
No motorcycles or off-road vehicles allowed.

Early Arrival - Please do not arrive before 2 pm as our Grounds Crew needs time to prepare your site. There is a $50 fee for early arrival if your site is available. If it is not ready, you will be asked to leave and return at the correct time (there is no room to park and wait for your site to be ready).
Late Check Out - If you would like a late check out, please talk to the Reservation Check-in Booth staff to see if an accommodation can be made. Otherwise, you may be subject to a $100 fine if you do not vacate by 12:00 pm on the day of your departure. If you do not vacate your site by 2 pm, you may be subject to overnight fees in addition to the late check out fee.

Yes! We allow dogs on leashes, and we have two dog parks where they can play off leash! There is a $5 daily fee for dogs. Please note that dogs are not allowed in most permanent structure sites (Cottages, Ranch Wagons, Cabins, etc.)

Yes! We have unlocked WiFi throughout the campground to keep you connected (if you want)! Check out our Wifi Terms & Conditions.

Yes, we allow and encourage campfires - there’s no better place to tell stories! And yes, each site is equipped with a fire pit (please, do not remove them - there are fines for damage or removal!).

Yes, our General Store sells both! Please, no wood gathering! We want to preserve the beauty of nature!
Firewood and kindling are for sale in the General Store; there's no charge for delivery to your site! (No wood gathering allowed.) Please do not deface, cut, or clear trees and shrubs; do not fasten anything to the trees.

Propane sales are available starting at 8a. daily during daylight hours. Our Grounds crew can help you get propane during daylight hours, when the store is open. Just bring your tank!

Directions From Hwy 101 near Santa Rosa, CA
On the northside of Santa Rosa, take exit 494 (the River Road Exit) west to the Russian River Resort Areas and Guerneville (approx. 18 miles).
From Guerneville, continue straight (West) onto Hwy 116 to Duncans Mills (another 8 miles).
Turn left onto Moscow Road, cross the bridge over the river and continue to the campground entrance (3/4 mile).
Directions From Pacific Coast Hwy 1
South of Jenner, take Hwy 116 east toward the Russian River Resort Areas.
Continue upriver 4 miles to Duncans Mills.
Turn right onto Moscow Road, cross the bridge over the river and continue to the campground entrance (3/4 mile).

Within a certain number of days from arrival, we cannot offer refunds (the number of days varies by site type). Outside of the no-refund window, refunds are allowed less a cancellation fee.

Cottages all have bathrooms and kitchens; some Cottages do not have ovens, however.

Some of our sites are pull-through - you can call to ensure you’re booking a pull-through site if this is a requirement for you!
Activities & Amenities

During the summer (mid-June to mid-August) we have daily activities;
in the spring and fall (May 1 to mid-June and mid-August to October 31) we have activities on the weekends only.
Activities include hay rides, movie nights, dance parties, ice cream social, family field games, crafts, beach bonfires, and more!

Yes, we have bikes, pedal carts, kayaks, canoes, golf carts, and sports equipment available for rent!

No - but there is one mile of riverfront!

Yes you can fish in the river, but you will need a license! Fishing is subject to closures at certain times of the year. Check the local regulations before fishing by calling this hotline: 707-944-5533.

Yes! The Moscow General Store is well-stocked and should have nearly everything you could need during your visit!

Day visitors are only allowed if they don’t cause you to exceed the maximum site capacity. All visitor vehicles must be in overflow parking.
There is a $7 charge per person for day use visitors. Pet fees apply. Any visitors staying past dusk will be charged overnight fees.

NO gas-powered recreational vehicles (other than your truck/passenger vehicle or RV) allowed - this means no ATVs, UTVs, etc. are allowed.
Electric golf carts are allowed, but must be operated by a sober, licensed driver 21+ years old.
We also have golf carts for rent at the campground!

No smoking in common areas. No cannabis use in public view or in a way that is offensive to your neighbors. Alcohol is allowed only for those 21 and older.

We allow quiet generators only. Generator hours are 8:00AM - 10:00AM / 12:00PM - 1:00PM / 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

Quiet hours: 10pm to 8am.
We are serious about our quiet hours to ensure that everyone can get a good night sleep and be well-rested for a day of adventuring!
During the day, please keep your music/noise contained to your site; if your neighbors can hear it, it’s too loud.

Thanks to the proximity of the ocean, we enjoy warm but more temperate summer temperatures than inland locations. It can be breezy!
In the fall, the winds die down making early fall an ideal time to camp.
Our winters can be rainy, but we still welcome campers!
